Ms. Levan is the principal of her own law practice, which focuses on commercial, contract, real estate, and intellectual property litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. She is also the founder of Levan Associates (www.levanassoc.com), a national legal research company that performs in-depth research for major companies, financial institutions, and law firms of all sizes. As head of the legal department, Ms. Levan supervises the research and drafting of opinion letters, and helps to resolve complex issues arising in numerous practice areas.

Before beginning her own practice, Ms. Levan was trained in the New York law firm of Luboja & Thau LLP where she represented commercial clients in litigation and companies in securities arbitrations. Ms. Levan also represented a multinational company in a variety of contractual disputes in the state and federal courts.

Ms. Levan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in 1990. She went on to study at Washington College of Law at American University. After graduation in 1994, Ms. Levan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Salvatore Bovino of the New Jersey Superior Court. Ms. Levan is admitted to practice law in New York State and in New Jersey, as well as to the bars of the United States District Court of New Jersey, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
