RICO - A Short Description

The full scope of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, most commonly referred to simply as "RICO.html", is very broad and allows the federal government to prosecute individuals under many varying circumstances so long as two or more people are involved directly or indirectly in the furtherance of, or attempted furtherance of, criminal activity. The full text of the Act can be read on the US State Department's Website. Many of the crimes prosecuted under the RICO act are considered white collar crimes.
